The document, titled “Mater Populi Fidelis – Mother of the Faithful People of God,” emphasizes that Mary is not a co-redeemer with Jesus Christ. Instead, she is the mother of Jesus and a model of faith and devotion.”
After centuries of open idolatry and blasphemous worship, are we now to applaud this as a humble confession? No, it is not repentance, it is repositioning. Rome never retracts; she only rebrands. The timing is far too convenient, coinciding with the assassination of Charlie Kirk and the sudden surge of “christian unity” and “christian solidarity” talk from “conservative” media. The papist system is once again presenting itself as the religion of Christ, drawing protestants, evangelicals, and all who name the name of Christ beneath her canopy of spiritual adultery. It is the same old harlot, freshly painted and repackaged for a modern age. No longer draped in imperial robes but clothed in the language of faith, enthroning herself once more in the minds of the deceived. Her goal is still what it has always been, to use the name of Christ as a cloak for her blasphemy.
Note how the language of “model of faith and devotion” is carefully chosen to appear biblical, even evangelical. It’s a tone meant to soothe, not to shock; to unite, not to expose idolatry. It creates the illusion of common ground, where truth and error might clasp hands beneath the banner of religion. And the world applauds, not seeing that the same hand which held the cup of abominations now holds out a chalice of unity. Revelation 17:4-5. But the poison has not changed.
