UNITED STATES OF SODOM

First and foremost, I would say, like all my other writings, this article is addressed exclusively to believers in Christ, those who hold, {or at least, to those who profess to hold,} like all believers, to the inerrancy and authority of Holy Scripture. The LORD inscripted his words for those to whom they were intended, and those alone. Matthew 11:25. Christ, “answered and said unto them, because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.” Matthew 13:11. The BIBLE is not addressed to the world, which in numerous places are referred to as “them that are without,” Mark 4:11, I Corinthians 5:12-13, Colossians 4:5, but to a special and peculiar people, Titus 2:14, that in all areas of life desire to set forth the praises of the LORD who hath called them out of darkness into Christ’s marvellous light. I Peter 2:9. A believer has no power to generate, manipulate or regulate his faith, which faith {being a Divine persuasion of the mind} binds him to believe what the Spirit has revealed as TRUTH, unto which his conscience becomes captivated, so that, in essence, he can believe no different! This captivity binds him to the absoluteness and authority of God’s inscripted Truth, and is an integral part of authentic Christianity. On the contrary, apart from some sentimental notions that unbelievers may entertain regarding the Bible, it really means nothing to them anyway, and upon that basis I decline from addressing those that would trample Christ’s words under their feet. “Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.” Matthew 7:6. Here might be a good place to also insert the fact that in regards to this matter of homosexuality, our opinion does NOT matter, as the LORD hath spoken, and we do well to take heed, II Peter 1:19, and just as Elijah slaughtered all the prophets of Baal, I Kings 18:40, so all our personal opinions need to be slaughtered by the word of the LORD.

And in that light, Christians do not look upon the Scriptures as a mere collection of ancient religious texts that can be disregarded or reinterpreted to mean something other than what they actually were intended to set forth, or a system of belief that they can just change as the world or its culture changes. Instead, they understand the Bible to be what it claims to be, nothing less than the pure, inerrant and unchangeable word of God, and the absolute & final authority for all doctrine, faith and practice. And upon that foundation, Biblical Christianity represents the greatest obstacle to the normalization of homosexuality, as the Bible most emphatically condemns all forms of homosexual behaviour. Homosexual advocates understand that if they are to succeed, they must either disregard or neutralize the Bible as an authority. With this in mind, the true Church will never give an inch on this issue! Because the true Church believes that God and his Word are inerrant and authoritative! The true Church believes Christ alone is King, with absolute authority over everything, which persuasion gives shape to their judgment and behaviour on every issue, not merely homosexuality, but all things pertaining to this life.

With this as a brief introduction, those who know me, know that I'm not much of an alarmist when it comes to the rulers of the darkness of this world; in fact, I pay little regard to the tumults of nations, political upheavals and the mad ravings of the wicked, having been given a thorough persuasion that all governments are upon the shoulders of Christ, Isaiah 9:6, and that all nations are as a drop in the bucket, Isaiah 40:15, as considered in the light of God’s absolute determination to accomplish all his good pleasure; yet, when it comes to this issue of homosexuality, without extravagating, we see a world drowning itself in this most deplorable darkness, ripening itself for the day of judgment. Joel 3:13-16.

So, why even attempt to write anything regarding such a highly controversial subject as that of homosexuality or the so-called gay pride movement, especially in the light of the sad fact that there are so many, even amongst professing Christians that tend to minimize the notoriousness of this sin/movement? But why is it controversial at all? Something that is so notoriously wrong, something that has been regarded as immoral and perverse for thousands of years, detested and condemned by every society, so against God’s created order, and so clearly anathematized by the sacred Scriptures of Truth – should never need any pitiful defence on our part to be labelled as a behaviour and lifestyle that the LORD hates and will clearly judge! The Bible’s condemnation of homosexuality is so very clear and strong! The LORD says that homosexuality is an “abomination” in his sight, which means that God hates, detests and thoroughly repudiates this sort of behaviour. The Old Testament teaches that people who are convicted of this crime of engaging in homosexual behaviour should be put to death. “If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination, they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.” Leviticus 20:13. “Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind; it is abomination.” Leviticus 18:22. The New Testament is in full agreement, as the Apostle Paul says that those engaged in homosexual acts are worthy of death. “For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections, for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature; and likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was meet…who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.” Romans 1:26-32. The Scriptures are so very clear that homosexuality is a vile perversion of the divine order in every case and instance. It is an unnatural and detestable practice that God absolutely hates, and no one calling themselves by the name of Christ should ever sanction or approve of such a thing. This is not the opinion of man but the clear teaching of the Word of God!

One wish in attempting to bring before our minds this most unpleasant subject matter is to remind ourselves how easily we too can fall prey to the wicked influences of a degenerate generation, to polarize us to the Scriptures of truth, to remind us all of our sheer nothingness before the Lord, and to call us all to a renewed vigilance in standing against this evil which has so saturated our land; and no wonder, when the entire blackened world has embraced this decadent lifestyle as something good and virtuous, even as militant gay rights activists through the wicked support of every major media source attempt to indoctrinate a people that over the years had already lost any sense of decency. We have thought for years that things surely cannot get any worse, but they have continually gotten worse and worse, and now we agonizingly feel the darkness deepening literally weekly, and even daily. The plain truth is that even within the short space of our own lifetime, much of what society almost universally abhorred has now been so sweetly re-packaged, {by wolves preying and exploiting the gullible masses,} so as to give people the impression that there is actually something noble and even virtuous in tolerating and accepting this sort of behaviour, and labelling it as an alternative lifestyle!

The carnage of the moral decay of our present-day society is literally indescribable, as words fail us to define the sheer astonishment and overwhelming sadness which fills our hearts, even as we perceive the pendulum of God’s divine wrath, {in essence leaving mankind to orchestrate his own destruction in being given over to their own base lusts and passions,} swinging more and more over to give men exactly what they want, a society progressively given over to such as have absolutely no desire, nor ability to retain God in their knowledge, Romans 1:28, seeing that all their works, both good and bad, {being done in unbelief, Romans 14:23,} are an abomination in the eyes of the Lord, even as they glory in their shameful and depraved behaviour. Philippians 3:19. “The nations have sunk down in the pit which they made; in the net which they hid, their own foot is caught. The LORD is known by the judgment He executes; the wicked is snared in the work of his own hands. The wicked shall be turned into Hell, and all the nations that forget God.” Psalms 9:15-17. This, in our day, is in fact, in and of itself, the greatest demonstration & evidence of God’s wrath and indignation, in giving men over to their own reprobate minds, even as he scatters them in the imagination of their own hearts, Luke 1:51, and the very fact that they are imperceptible of this destruction, {for all outside of Christ will be consumed with unquenchable fire,} is in fact, the very judgment itself! “Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves.” Romans 1:24.

The metaphor of “the chickens having come home to roost,” seems very applicable as generations of evil workers, Philippians 3:2, perpetuating themselves as scientists, theologians, college professors & government officials, &c., having peddled their abominable theories over a period of about 150 years, are now seeing the fruit of their industrious labours. The God of all creation has been evidently blasphemed as reprobate scientists and apostate theologians beguile the heart of the simple, {“the simple pass on, and are punished,” Proverbs 22:3,} in their perpetuation of the lie of evolution, {a theory that is so unimaginably insane, inasmuch as a far greater power that is unintelligible to natural man, must be orchestrating & perpetuating this lie, Revelation 12:12,} which theory, along with its many corresponding lies, is now so entrenched and absorbed by the masses, who have invariably created their own meaningless universe, in essence a world independent from God, where God is replaced with themselves. II Thessalonians 2:4. Men love darkness, and though the inescapable knowledge of God thunders out in all creation, man does everything in his power to drown out that revelation. Man does not want to know, and consequently he does not know! “He that believeth on him is not condemned; but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.” John 3:18-19. As men refused to acknowledge the LORD - the giver of all good - over so many centuries of providential blessings & evidential truth, is it any wonder that our present-day society is so unconsciously barrelling unto destruction!

So, in what almost appears to be a brazen attempt to essentially destroy the human race “that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world,” Revelation 12:9, and who goes forth by the dictation of the LORD, throughout the entire earth, Job 1:7, in the form of “a lying spirit,” I Kings 22:23, has now influenced millions to embrace the idea of men “marrying” men and women “marrying” women! Has the world gone absolutely insane? Why is there not more of an outcry against this profound wickedness? The propagation of the human species by natural generation is a principle of nature implanted by God himself. Genesis 2:18-28, makes it clear that they were so created for the purpose of physical and emotional compatibility and the reproduction of the race. Men are not meant to be partners for men, nor women for women, and two persons of the same sex cannot procreate. These clear and elementary facts underline one basic truth, which is that same sex relations are a perversion of God’s intended function for male and female.

What I find a bit interesting is the sad fact that so many people who once agreed with the fact that homosexual behaviour is detestable, now, after perhaps engaging with some ‘loving’ gay people are all of a sudden scrapping their previous convictions, in favor of a spirit of acceptance and toleration? Would that not be a clear indication that their earlier views were likewise defective? May I suggest that their previous abhorrence of this lifestyle was highly shallow and flawed, not being grounded on principles of eternal truth or even basic ethical values, but rather on, perhaps a certain stereotype of sodomites being worst sinners than themselves, or just a vague persuasion picked up from their family circle? The terms bigotry and prejudice come to mind to describe such previous preconceptions now exchanged for a more tolerable view. Believers may indeed be required to tolerate sinful and ungodly behaviour as society crumbles before them, but the minute they begin to sanction such behaviour, or endorse the ‘rights’ of this ‘alternative’ lifestyle they too are become partakers of their evil deeds. “Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.” Romans 1:32.

Another reason why this subject is presently engaging my thoughts is the insane fact that millions of deluded souls, {especially during the month of June, or what is otherwise known as Gay Pride Month,} are celebrating sin; celebrating a lifestyle of sin and depravity that is reminiscent to the children of Israel dancing around the molten calf. From the lowliest weasel shacked up with his ‘boyfriend’ in some decrepit motel, to the billionaire tycoon using his influence to sway our society to support a lifestyle of sin and iniquity; from the homeliest looking schoolgirl sporting her rainbow pride banner to the multi-billion-dollar corporation exploiting the latest ‘trend’ in order to further line their filthy pockets; from the most babbling idiot whose media swept mind like a drunken sailor sways with the latest news out of the liberal cesspool that is Hollywood, to the most distinguished politician intend on filling his political coffers with the popular vote; from the most bumbling simpleton that believes every word, {as long it does not interfere with his lifestyle,} to the astute college professor whose finely tuned curriculum assures that all moral ethics are squelched, all as one, whoring themselves out to the spirit of this evil age. Ephesians 2:2.

And speaking of a curriculum, the enemies of Christ, whom he shall one day grind to powder, Matthew 21:44, are fully aware that whoever controls our children controls our future, and will do anything to ensnare them in their diabolical net. Disastrously, so many couples for convenience’s sake or the love of money gladly hand their parental responsibilities over to state controlled and subsidized daycare centers and schools for several hours a day, five days a week, to be indoctrinated by atheists and sodomites, and then they wonder why little Billy-Bob all of a sudden thinks that he is little Betsy-Lou! This is disastrous! Our children are our greatest treasure on this earth, and thus should be our greatest concern! As believers in Christ, we need to be more fully awakened to the sheer fact that our government cares absolutely nothing about the spiritual welfare of our children, and has in fact done everything in their power to suppress ‘religion,’ even in its most basic expressions. Reading, writing and arithmetic, {though in their proper place important,} all pertain to the things of this perishing life, and when weighed in the scales of eternity sink into obliviation. In the end it’s pretty irrelevant whether Johnny knows how to read or not, as the only book that will matter is the Lamb’s book of life, and whether his name is inscribed in that book! “And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.” Revelation 20:15. From the moment they are taught their ABCs to the time that they put on their graduation dunce cap, they are essentially taught the principles of secular humanism, including unashamedly promoting the practice of sodomy as an alternative lifestyle, and portraying the traditional family as a hostile environment, thus labeling all those who reject homosexuality as unloving, old-fashioned, naïve and oppressive; and then they are somehow surprised when their ‘precious’ little ones turn into little heathens, which to remedy they must needs feed them all sorts of psychological babble or mind-altering drugs to help enable them to cope with the hardships of life here in the United States. How pathetic and self-destructive! To use a familiar phrase, “we have met the enemy and it is us!”

As believers in Christ, we need to do everything that we possibly can to protect our children, to bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord, Ephesians 6:4, by instructing them in the knowledge of heavenly things, John 3:12, and teaching them first and foremost, and always primarily the Scriptures of Truth, the principles of godliness, and one such vital principle is to warn them to not defile themselves with the inhabitants of the land. We do well to seriously consider and take heed to the following exhortation by the prophet Ezekiel. “And now, O our God, what shall we say after this, for we have forsaken thy commandments which thou hast commanded by thy servants the prophets, saying, the land, unto which ye go to possess it, is an unclean land with the filthiness of the people of the lands, with their abominations, which have filled it from one end to another with their uncleanness. Now therefore give not your daughters unto their sons, neither take their daughters unto your sons, nor seek their peace or their wealth forever.” Ezekiel 9:10-11.

Another astonishing fact is that the entire blackened world, which includes most so-called evangelicals assert the lie of free-will; that is, that man by an assertion of his free will can manipulate and direct “the hand of the Lord” in accordance with the dictates of his own self-enthroned authority, whereas the biblical truth is that man’s will is only free as far as it is bound by its nature. Adam, being the root of all mankind, fell, {so to speak,} from his created excellence and purity, and by that one sin, plunged his entire posterity, descending from him by ordinary generation, into guilt, ruin and alienation, whereby death came upon all his posterity, who now are conceived in sin, and are by nature, from the cradle to the grave, servants of sin, subjects of death, and completely incapacitated as to any real heavenly inclination. “And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.” Genesis 6:5. Calvin, “therefore let us hold this as an undoubted truth which no siege engines can shake; the mind of man has been so completely estranged from God’s righteousness that it conceives, desires and undertakes only that which is impious, perverted, foul, impure and infamous. The heart is so steeped in the poison of sin that it can breathe out nothing but a loathsome stench. But if some men occasionally make a show of good, their minds nevertheless ever remain enveloped in hypocrisy and deceitful craft, and their hearts bound by inner perversity.” {INSTITUTES 2:5:19} Or, in other words, there is no such thing as free will {especially when it comes to salvation} for our wills are bound by our nature. But when it comes to the question at hand, now all of a sudden, these also confess to having no free will. No, say they, “we were born that way, and therefore our behaviour is excusable.” It’s a blasphemous assertion to suggest that God creates men trapped inside of women’s bodies, or women trapped inside of men’s bodies. Born that way indeed! Whilst you can use this argument to justify even the most heinous crime, let us remember this basic truth from the Scripture, which is that “God created man upright,” Ecclesiastes 7:29, and without going into all the theological implications of this truth, we can confidently assert that man has corrupted his own way, and because of man’s rebellion against God we are all born sinners with an inclination to sin. “Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.” Psalms 51:5.

So, are homosexuals born with a certain orientation to destroy themselves, apart from the grace of Christ? Affirmatively yes, but so are all of us by nature! Every son & daughter of Adam is born with a natural predisposition to love sin and hate righteousness, derived to him by natural generation, which corruption of nature is the fountain, source, and spring of all sin. In other words, we are all born with a sinful nature that rebels against God and all that is lovely and holy, to gratify our selfish lusts. But our natural state of sinfulness does not mitigate our moral accountability for that sin! If homosexuality can be exempt because people claim that they are born that way, that would exempt us all from guilt in any particular sin that we may be inclined towards, or given over to. To minimize sin in any way or to minimize the notoriousness of any one sin is to minimize the work of Christ! In fact, it would nullify the Gospel itself, and make the death of Christ, who died as a sin-bearing substitute, completely meaningless! This would also exempt any need for repentance or forgiveness! Being born with certain behavioural predispositions does not equate to those desires being good, moral, and acceptable in the eyes of the LORD. Even fools, Psalms 14:1, whose days are spent in suppressing the testimony of their own condemned consciences, know with some degree of certainty that their sins will bring them to destruction. “It is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.” Hebrews 9:27. The Christian life begins with a sinner’s recognition that their born-that-way behaviours are sinful behaviours, and unless the LORD shows them mercy, they must certainly perish. “For the wages of sin is death.” Romans 6:23. And thus, though in and of ourselves altogether filthy and unrighteous, we too, based exclusively upon the imputed righteousness of our blessed Redeemer stand with Lot in being vexed with the filthy lifestyle of the wicked. II Peter 2:7. We tremble as we are enabled to view the moral desolations of this land, and the solemn wonderment as to why the Lord has not destroyed this nation yet, even as his imminent wrath seems so slow, {as to our perception, I Peter 3:20,} to fester, as the LORD endures “with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction.” Romans 9:22.

Just this past week, I was informed that a group of individuals from the homosexual rights movement, {no doubt representing the brain-dead element of that movement,} were comparing the persecution that the Pilgrims endured in having to flee Europe, to the persecution faced every day by their homo kinfolk who are being persecuted in places like the Middle East, the Orient, or even Russia, where their sinful actions are still held in the highest contempt, thus forcing them to want to immigrate to Sodom {USA} and flee the persecution which they have only brought upon themselves. And, although a strong argument can be made to the fact that the Puritans more than anything, left the Continent because they were losing their power to persecute those that did not agree with them, rather than looking for religious freedom, its nevertheless an insane assertion to compare their plight with that of the Pilgrims! There is no comparison whatsoever, no matter how ennobled and praised they are for their courage and bravery by a news/entertainment media that loves to wallow in their polluted streams! In fact, I’m about ready to barf, if I hear another news broadcaster tell us how brave and inspiring these people are! I would venture to say that Francis Scott Key, {whose monument in SF was recently – 2020 – destroyed by a racist mob,} had the opposite in mind when he coined the phrase, “America, home of the free and the brave.”

According to one source, Campus Crusade {which I know, nor care to know anything about} just released a statement by their head theologian stating, that those who got so-called “saved” after they were married to a spouse of the same sexual orientation should remain in that relationship, so as not to break the covenant or bond of marriage. What covenant or bond of marriage? These sinful relationships forged in rebellion against God’s commands can never constitute a state of matrimony. God does not recognize, sanction, nor own such a union! Those who are looking for a religious system or institution that does not interfere with their sinful lifestyle can now easily embrace this apostate Crusade, along with numerous other religious organizations that are joining their ranks on an almost daily basis.

One principal advantage of the fact that there is no such thing as same-sex “marriage” is that there is therefore also no such thing as same-sex “divorce,” which may come as good news to such as are brought to repentance, as they can simply just walk away from their partner in crime; for as we have already established, there simply is no such thing as so-called “gay marriage.” It does not exist! It’s not real! It’s a fantasy delusion of the worst sort! “But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female. For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife; and they twain shall be one flesh, so then they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.” Mark 10:6-9. God ordained marriage is the union of a man and a woman in a lifelong relationship as husband and wife, and is the bedrock of human society. This covenant relationship cannot be made to exist by unholy desires, local legislations or a wicked federal court system established by the people, and for the people. Sodomite marriages are wrong, as they pervert the pattern which God established in the beginning between one man married to one woman.

But, despite the heathen raging, Psalms 2:1, and the entire world wondering after the beast, Revelation 13:3, interestingly enough, I would venture to say that the majority of Americans would not consider themselves to be atheists, as most still retain a measure of religiosity, whilst clinging to some vague and sentimental notion of God. Regretfully, this vague and sentimental belief in a god who essentially exists for man, has absolutely nothing to do with the true God of Scripture, who has revealed himself in his Son Jesus Christ, who goes “forth conquering, and to conquer,” Revelation 6:2, who instead of existing for man, on the contrary “hath made all things for himself; yea, even the wicked for the day of destruction.” Proverbs 16:4. It’s no wonder that men are confounded, even on the most basic moral principles, as God in the absoluteness of his nature and the unchangeableness of his decrees is of such little consideration! Sadly, most so-called churches have only one agenda, which they refer to as ‘church growth,’ and to achieve this goal they will do just about anything, which includes using many elusive arguments to twist the scriptures to their own destruction, II Peter 3:16, and no wonder, as Satan in all subtilty, Genesis 3:1, always disguises himself as an angel of light, II Corinthians 11:14-15, and now, under a sick and sentimental concept which men call love, {by which universal umbrella they would deregulate the ethical laws and standards of righteousness as so clearly outlined in the sacred Scriptures,} they are willingly driven unto their own destruction.

To those that do profess Christ, {or pretend to do so,} and yet attempt to use the universal love card, I would ask them to seriously consider what manner of love is this? If we redefine wicked behaviour away and attempt to minimize its atrociousness to the point that those committing these crimes against God, against their own conscience, {which condemns them continually,} and against the institution of the family, {which God has sanctioned and ordained,} no longer need to feel condemned for their depraved actions, {seeing that they’ve been excused away,} what have we done, but to sanction their sin, and pretend that nothing is wrong. Evil is now good, whilst emotional and sentimental feelings are substituted for virtue, and moral truth is sacrificed upon the altar of immoral expediency. {Not long ago, psychiatrists believed homosexuality was a form of mental illness. Now they say homosexuality is normal, while those who oppose it have a mental illness. Whatever the popular view of the world may be, the “psychological sciences” are sure to support that view.} The modern definition of love boils down to a total acceptance of everyone and everything. It means that there is no longer any discrimination with respect to what is good and what is evil, what is right and what is wrong. It means that you simply and unquestionably have to accept and tolerate everything as perfectly normal under this banner which they call love.

The only true way to love others is to tell them the truth, to warn them, to inform them of their need for repentance, and that their only hope lies in Christ, who as a perfect substitute died for the ungodly, Romans 5:6, for there is no other hope or name “under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” Acts 4:12. And whilst the LORD has not called us to reform culture, it’s imperative that we “hold fast to that which is good.” I Thessalonians 5:21. True love hates what is harmful and destructive in the lives of others, and especially in the lives of those within their own family circle. If we know a man to be utterly deceived, and in a way that is lethal to his own soul, II Peter 2:1, and upon being asked about the reason of our hope, I Peter 3:15; or questioned about our Biblical ethics, we choose to say nothing, in order to preserve our own peace and safety, we are not walking in love. Refusal to tell the truth is the opposite of love! True love points people away from worshiping themselves, and their own base lusts, and points them towards Christ.

Additionally, we have all heard about various persons of coconsciousness over the past few years who have suffered untold heartache and even financial ruin at the hands of unscrupulous men and woman that have assaulted their convictions by attempting to force them to bow to their militant demands. It’s not just butchers, bakers and candlestick makers whose consciences are being violated, but many are being forced to sacrifice their personal convictions on the altar of toleration. In the name of acceptance and toleration, the believer is asked to tolerate all things, because the unbeliever will tolerate absolutely nothing. It means a life upon their terms or no life at all. The only real standard is not God speaking in the scriptures, but man pretending to be a god. Fast upon the heels of these poor conscientious objectors, refusing to defile their consciences by succumbing to the unscrupulous demands of a reprobate lynch-mob, {often disguised as genuine customers,} are what might be termed our modern-day witch-hunters who are now going about lurking for ‘Christian’ business owners, being determined to smoke out any real conscientious objectors, so that they can burn them on their altars of discrimination. Despite all their pleas for love, acceptance and toleration, they are in fact the most intolerant group in the world, who will stop at nothing until their ultimate goal of stomping out the Christian religion and godly values is realized.

I recently read about an owner of a bakeshop in Lakewood, Colorado, who for his punishment in refusing to bake a ‘wedding’ cake for a sodomite couple was severely reprimanded and ordered by the State Civil Rights Commission to provide services, {in direct violation of his conscience before God,} for same-sex weddings, train his staff on anti-discrimination laws, and file quarterly compliance reports for two years. These newly coined anti-discrimination and equality laws have nothing to do with equality at all, but are merely improperly-named pieces of legislation that aim to make biblical convictions a crime against the State! Think about what this means? The courts have already prohibited discrimination based on the non-choice aspects of one’s life, such as ethnicity, gender, &c., and rightfully so, but now they are expanding that protection to sexual orientation and gender identity, which effectively makes it a crime to disagree with their current cultural and atheistical ideology and hold to the convictions that those of us who love Christ and the Bible have held for thousands of years. Freedom of religion without government interference was so basic and central to our country’s founding that it was written into the first amendment of the Constitution. This means that people should never be forced to go against their core values and beliefs in order to conform to culture or government; yet our government is attempting to force people to act in violation of their godly principles, all so those who prefer to engage in sex acts once considered by all thoughtful people as “crimes against nature” can feel good about themselves. As one man put it, “first we overlook evil, then we permit evil, then we legalize evil, then we celebrate evil, and then we persecute those who call it evil.” And what God calls evil, society now calls good, even as they glory in their shame! Proud in their sin! It’s gay pride, {or, the right of homosexuals to force all others to celebrate their sexual orientation,} and in accordance with their twisted thoughts, nothing to be ashamed of, but rather to be celebrated! Isaiah, “woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!” Isaiah 5:20.

Some, in a camp not far removed, although still far outside the perimeters of God’s holy word, tend to look upon this particular sin as being no different than other sins, and whilst in one regard this may be true, the Scriptures seem to affirm the contrary, as this specific sin is not only against the express command of the LORD, but against nature itself. It is a direct perversion of the created order! God’s design for the marriage union is to “be fruitful, to multiply,” and to populate the earth, Genesis 1:27, for which purpose God in the beginning created one man {Adam} and one woman {Eve} and to deviate from this precise mandate is a serious matter! Sodomy is worse than other sins in that it dishonours the bodies of people between themselves! The apostle Paul calls it a “vile affection,” and that it is a crime “against nature,” itself, Romans 1:26, which sin is a direct result of the LORD in judgment.

Witness Lot, as he offered his two virgin daughters to the perverted Sodomites, who wanted to demoralize the two men that had come to tell Lot to flee from the wrath to come. Genesis 19:4-8. What a shameful and almost unthinkable proposal on the part of Lot! It would appear that Lot out of sheer desperation and confusion of mind, not knowing what to say or do to prevent the base designs of those men, committed the sin of seeking to avert one sin by another sin. Lot obviously understood something that most of us fail to grasp, which is the fact that throughout the sacred scriptures this sin of sodomy is viewed with the greatest abhorrence, defiling those who practice this evil, and that nation which tolerates this activity. This was the case with Sodom and Gomorrah. In Leviticus 18:24-25, the LORD said, “defile not ye yourselves in any of these things, for in all these the nations are defiled which I cast out before you, and the land is defiled; therefore I do visit the iniquity thereof upon it, and the land itself vomiteth out her inhabitants.” This is no ordinary sin! “And the LORD said, because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grievous.” Genesis 18:20. The LORD calls this a very ‘grievous’ sin, which word in the Hebrew may likewise be translated as exceeding heavy!

Now, if you think my position on homosexuality is a bit radical, just wait until you hear what else I believe! I believe that any man and woman living together outside the bonds of marriage are not only sinning against the LORD, but against their own bodies. “Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.” I Corinthians 6:18. In fact, any sexual activity that takes place outside of the marriage covenant between a husband and wife is sinful, and will be judged! Whilst society and modern-day culture may approve of fornication, may normalize a lifestyle of habitual sexual promiscuity, and wink at the sin of adultery, the LORD promises severe punishment on everyone who makes a mockery of marriage by their lust infused life-style. “Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived, neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind; nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.” I Corinthians 6:9-10. The pleasures of sin are never worth the consequences of iniquity! I also believe that there is only “ONE God, and ONE Mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus,” I Timothy 2:5; and that there is salvation in no other, “for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” Acts 4:12. “I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins, for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.” John 8:24. And that if you fail to hear that ONE prophet, you will be certainly destroyed! “For Moses truly said unto the fathers, a prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you. And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people.” Acts 3:22-23. I furthermore believe that there is only ONE gospel, II Corinthians 11:4, around and unto which all those that belong to Christ, I Corinthians 6:20, will be inevitably gathered. “It is written in the prophets, and they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me.” John 6:45. That’s all pretty radical stuff! Yes, the true Gospel is radical, and it’s time for those who profess to believe it to come boldly and uncompromisingly over to the side of Christ, Joshua 24:15, and cry out against this wicked ‘alternative’ lifestyle. “And the LORD said unto him, go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof.” Ezekiel 9:4. Believers cannot compromise on this topic! We must remain true to the Scriptures of Truth! Homosexuality is an abomination, and we cannot teach tolerance of a perverse criminal behaviour, any more than we would teach “tolerance” of child abuse, pedophilia, rape, murder, profanity or blasphemy.

The good news for those that hate Christ and despise God’s perfect creative order is the ominous fact that articles such as this will soon be completely banned, as our beloved Federal Government will do all within their power to protect the ‘rights’ of the degenerate, even whilst they attempt to systematically demolish, one by one, the pillars of morality that God designed into the creation, resulting in worldwide confusion, disorder, chaos and destruction. But who will protect us all from the imminent wrath of Almighty God when he rains fire & brimstone upon this apostate nation! II Peter 3:7.

More ‘good’ news, but this time for those of us who remain committed to upholding the standards of God’s holy word, for as the foundations of morality, decency and just basic common sense, continue to crumble right before our eyes, it will not be long at all before the traditional family unit will gain minority status, at which time those of us that feel so inclined can begin rioting, looting and demanding our civil rights without any repercussions whatsoever!

In conclusion, is there any hope for those ensnared in this detestable lifestyle or beguiled into being made to think this is somehow normal? Is there any hope whatsoever for those who have entrapped themselves in a lifestyle of fornication or sodomy? Emphatically NO, not as long as they continue on in their present path. “Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God. Be not deceived, neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.” I Corinthians 6:9-10. Again, NO, there really is no hope, not as long as they continue to drink from the polluted streams of this world’s intoxicating religions! All of them, with no exception, being as wicked and idolatrous as the rest, all barreling full speed towards destruction under their ecumenical banner, which reads in bold letters, “TO THE UNKNOWN GOD.” Acts 17:23.

So, I must ask again, is there any hope; or in the words of the bewildered disciples, “who then can be saved?” Matthew 19:25. Whilst the LGBT movement itself is irreconcilably cursed from head to foot, there are no doubt those still under its spell which the LORD will inevidently gather unto Christ. John 6:45. “And such were some of you; but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.” I Corinthians 6:11. We are all the same, “all carnal, and sold under sin,” Romans 7:14, all under “the same condemnation,” Luke 23:40, “altogether vanity.” Psalms 39:5. It is because we understand our own utter estrangement from God, {“the sentence of death in ourselves,” II Corinthians 1:9,} and the sheer fact that “except the LORD of hosts had left unto us a very small remnant, we should have been as Sodom, and we should have been like unto Gomorrah,” Isaiah 1:9, that we too desire to help others see the hopelessness of their state, not in the least to make them feel inferior, but to bring them to Christ, the only Saviour of sinners! “Christ died for the ungodly.” Romans 5:6. And, although the LORD did not send a messenger, preacher or prophet to Sodom to ‘evangelize’ its inhabitants, we can be assured, that just as Lot and those in his immediate circle were removed from Sodom, so the LORD will deliver his “purchased possession,” Ephesians 1:14, “from every evil work,” and “will preserve them unto his heavenly kingdom, to whom alone be glory for ever and ever.” II Timothy 4:18.

Closing prayer, “Oh, LORD, do not I hate them, that hate thee, and am not I grieved with those that rise up against thee, Psalms 139:21; bring swift destruction to them, and confound their evil intentions and devises! Scatter their aims, and confuse their judgments, “that they may not understand one another’s speech,” Genesis 11:7, and eventually turn upon themselves. Oh, LORD, be pleased to deliver those that have been given over to this self-destructive sin, and have mercy upon all of us, as its only by thy sheer mercy that we are not consumed!” Lam.3:2.
